Free Background Remover is a web-based tool that uses artificial intelligence to automatically remove backgrounds from images. The Service offers various features including solid color backgrounds, gradient backgrounds, pattern backgrounds, custom image backgrounds, background blur effects, and watermark tools. The Service is provided free of charge and requires no user registration. Maximum file size: 20MB per image.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Upload images containing illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content
- Upload images that infringe on intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party
- Upload images containing malware, viruses, or other malicious code
- Attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without authorization
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
4. Intellectual Property Rights
Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the images you upload. By uploading an image, you grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license to process the image solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Processed Images: You own the processed images (with backgrounds removed) and can use them for any lawful purpose.
Our Service: The Service, including its design, functionality, and underlying technology, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service.
5. Privacy and Data Protection

- Uploaded images are not stored permanently
- Images are processed in real-time and deleted immediately after processing
- No user registration or personal information is required
6. Rate Limiting
To ensure fair usage and prevent abuse, we implement rate limits on the Service. Currently, users are limited to 30 requests per minute per IP address. Excessive use may result in temporary or permanent suspension of access.

No Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
- Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service
- Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content
